A Word From the Athletic Director...

St. John Lutheran has had a storied history of excellence in athletics. There have been many District, Regional, and Sectional Championships throughout the years... Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and Track, for both boys & girls...even State Champions in Track & Field! And recently, in each of the past 4 years, our Varsity Girls Volleyball team advanced to the Final Four in State competition!

Our goal will always be for Christ-centered excellence! So as we look to the future, we will continue to mold and shape our athletic programs, and focus on the development of the total individual athlete: intellectually, emotionally, socially, morally, and of course physically, as we strive to be champions!

-Dennis Meunier, demeunier@stjohnocala.org

State Final Four for 4 years straight! State Runner-up in 2006!!
St. John has established itself as an excellent tradition, of which we can be proud. My coaching staff and I are grateful for the support of the student body and the families of our athletes, who contribute to this success. The hard work and commitment to strive for that excellence, by the players themselves, is the reason we can take pride in our program. We, the coaching staff, consider this a ministry, and are thankful for the ladies we can work with and see grow, not only in volleyball skills, but life skills as well.
-- St. John Lutheran Varsity Volleyball Coach Laura Duncan
