Some specific functions the PTL serves include:
- Liaison with the Administration
- Fellowship with other parents
- Volunteer opportunities within the
school community such as Classroom Coordinators and Teacher
Appreciation Week deliveries
- Fun activities for students, such as Red
Ribbon Week, Field Day, & the Fall Festival
- Beneficial fundrasing for St. John. Past
fundraising efforts include gymnasium bleachers, playground equipment,
computer equipment, and school vans.
The PTL meets regularly and is always
looking for active parents to participate in meetings and serve on
commitees. Won't you come for an hour once a month, joining with other
concerned and involved parents? This is an exciting way to stay
up-to-date on what's happening at your child's school.
