Week, Field Day, & the Fall Festival
- Beneficial Fundrasing for St. John School, including
the School Store & Gift Wrap Fundraisers. Past efforts include
gymnasium bleachers, playground equipment, computer equipment, and
school vans. Last year's PTL raised over $51,000 for the school!
PTL meets at 8:30am on the first Tuesday of each month
in the COC room just off the middle school courtyard. We are looking
for active parents to participate in meetings and serve on commitees.
Won't you come for an hour once a month, joining with other concerned
and involved parents? This is an exciting way to stay up-to-date on
what's happening at your child's school.
SCHOOL STORE
The PTL has started an online school store this year. This will be
the main fundraiser for the PTL. They are selling a variety of items,
but most notably they are selling St. John sweaters and sweatshirts.
Please note that if students want to wear a sweater or sweatshirt
in the classroom this year, that sweater or sweatshirt must be a St.
John sweater or sweatshirt. So hurry up and order some for
your child (and for yourself!) at www.stjohnptl.com...and
don't forget to shop around the site for other great "saints'
spirit" items.
COOKIE DOUGH SALE
Does all the baking you have to do at Christmas stress you out. The
PTL has an idea that will help alleviate some of that stress. They
will be selling cookie dough from Monday, October 15th-Friday, November
2nd. This cookie dough will be delivered to you just before Christmas
break so you can have fresh cookies quickly without messing up mixing
bowls, measuring cups, and other cooking utencils. Even better, the
proceeds from this sale will benefit your child's school!
