In our efforts to provide quality and excellence in all that we do, our lunch program is certainly included in the St. John Lutheran School experience. This year, we have decided to move forward with a new food service vendor, and we are excited about our new partnership with Entrees Catering. They have many years of experience in providing a quality food service program. 

 

Our entrees are made from scratch in our kitchen!  The snacks and a-la-carte items will be made with more nutritious ingredients, and the prices will be more affordable.  

 

We are working on the process to get registered with the National School Lunch Program. Our goal in being accepted to the National School Lunch Program is to offer quality lunches to all of our students and also enable families to receive free and reduced meals if they qualify based on their income.  Please understand that students who receive free and reduced meals will not be treated any differently from any other student as they go through the line to receive their lunch. More information will be provided as we move closer to being accepted. 

 

Entrees Catering offers hot lunches to our students similar to the process with our previous vendor.  The lunches will be available to our students at a price of $4.50 per lunch.  A-la-cart items will be available for an additional charge. 

 

Because our food is made to order, to minimize food waste, we request that all parents make a lunch account.

 

How to Make Your Lunch Account and Preorder:

 

The process to add a balance and preorder is a two-step process.

 

STEP 1: Adding your Balance

 

You need to make an account at https://stjohnocala.revtrak.net/ and click ‘Food payments.’ Add your student using the Student ID and Verification provided to you through email. If you do not have this information, please reach out Danielle McLean in the business office, or Jessica Parks in the front office.

 

Once you have added your student(s), you can add a balance to their account.

 

STEP 2: Preorder

 

Next click on the blue (MSA) Pre Order button. (See screenshot). Click on the ‘Create Account’ button and create an account. Click on ‘Manage Students’ and add your student(s) using the Student ID already provided. Then click Dashboard and ‘Preorder.’ You can then choose which days you wish to preorder.

 

All the preorder items have a price of 0.00. This is to ensure that your account is only charged when your student purchases through the lunch line. The price of lunch is $4.50 (à la carte items are extra.)
